Hello.
I have iPad 2, 16gb 3G. As you can see in the pic, left side of display has grey shadows (these are not yellow spots). Very annoying in the white background. So what are these, is it normal?http://img155.imageshack.us/i/imageaceb.jpg/

I don't know what catagorey this falls in but im looking for the bleep noise, so i can edit a video, the sound is the one used on shows like jerey springer. i cant find a site or program that has this, so could you pleae send it to my email or post it..

with the iTv and nike+ as testing groungs for apples wirless products, perhaps this is why we have seen the delay in the release of the fabled "iphone"? Also contributing to the delay is the time spent in developing the new ear buds. Mr. Jobs said the studied 10,000 ears or someting right? so the could have been developing the iphone pod set. the head set that is a fasion statement and a music player. great sound quality built into a stereo wireless headset that hooks up to iphone. like the first itunes enabled phone commercial with the guy walking and his shadow is dancing, and then answers a call,and then keeps on going :) this pod set will be the next big thing;) :D :p

Why reform income tax? Get rid of it. Institute a federal property tax (not just real estate) with a moderate cut off (like, say, the first $60K). You can obscure income with all manner of accounting tricks, stuff is much harder to hide.
Yes, it would be a logistical nightmare to get implemented, but once in place it would be much simpler (not that simple means fair, necessarily), and we would be back to the original intent of the constitution.

agree with everything, but have a couple suggestions.
i'm a huge arctic-cooling.com fan, but have moved from 'arctic silver' to 'mx-2' with great results. just as stable over time, seems to 'cure' faster, and i've found a several degree drop on lots of different builds. also, mx-2 is non-conductive, which won't matter if you only use the recommended amount, but safer is always better and all that.
i've got no problem with the kleenex trick, but would recommend plain old kitchen paper towel instead (also folded) because a lot of tissues have things like lotion (oil) which can cause problems when cleaning/bonding.
also would recommend rubbing alcohol instead of water (90% if you can find it, 70% if not) as it does a better job of removing the old bonding agent with less work, and won't damage any electronics like the crazy over priced cleaning stuff they sell. i get the water is free angle, but rubbing alcohol is really cheap at the local discount or drug store. i like cheap and effective!

They're idiots. Caught up in the "coolness" hype. Nothing more. And I don't consider weekend wedding photogs to be pros. I guarantee that any full time pro who needs to put food on the table does not depend on, much less condone the iPad to earn his/her keep.

No. Proofing and this so called "manipulation" belongs in a lab where meticulous care can be devoted to delivering perfectly color balanced prints�. Not a silly-assed iPad out in the field. And if said lab is out of reach then bring the lab with you in the form of something with more computing muscle�.

Look I'm all for new additions to the line of productivity apps for iOS products, but if someone walked into my studio touting their iPad with Photoshop or any other drawing, painting, video or audio app as a production station, I would laugh them right out the door. Do people seriously have any idea how big some of these files get? Not to mention the horse power that is needed to maintain a reasonable working interface? "Oh I can zoom in and do this, zoom out and do that..." Then they have no idea what timely productivity and deadlines are all about.
In the current form this does not cut it on a professional level. It may get there, but not anytime soon.

Yes, because the hardware manufactured decided to use "GB" for Gibibyte instead of gigabyte. But since all memory (hardrives, ram) are in base 2, 2^30 = 1GB is correct.

I think google has a lock on the map thing. I can't see apple employees driving around remapping the world to get their own data base
google maps itself is pretty crappy compared to Bing maps and some of the higher cost mapping solutions out there. google maps is hardly ever updated
