Steps One Megamix

Steps was a British pop group formed on 7 May 1997 and achieved a series of charted singles between 1997 and 2001. Their debut single was "5,6,7,8" which achieved minor success compared with the success of their other singles. It peaked at #14 on the UK Singles Chart. The group, together with Tina Cousins, Cleopatra, B*Witched, and Billie were part of the ensemble that released "Thank ABBA for the Music" (a medley of ABBA's "Take A Chance On Me", "Dancing Queen", "Mamma Mia" and "Thank You for the Music") in March 1999, as performed at the BRIT Awards. Their final single released as a group was a double A-side of "Words Are Not Enough" and "I Know Him So Well" which achieved a peak of #5 on the UK Singles Chart. The group disbanded on 26 December 2001. This is a 2 part series megamix, the 1st part will feature hits from 1997 to 1999. Ex/10Q (August 2010)

This month, we are featuring Hans, a chirpy and generous bloke we've met who's based in London. He has been posting remixes of the latest contemporary hits for the world via his blog "W-A-I-S-T-E-D", before he decided to shut it down for good. How did you come to know about our blog?
Sheer luck really; I was looking for some musical happiness and like a sign from above: There you were :-)

Who’s your favourite artiste?
Easy one, the Ulimate Princess Of Pop; KYLIE (Although she really should be Queen of Pop now, given that Madonna is like 103 or something and be put in a retirement home under lock 'n key).

Which is your most favourite DJ ExMen mix?
That's a tricky one; I'd have to say: Pride 2010 - The collaboration between W-A-I-S-T-E-D & ExMen. If that one is not allowed: Easy too: Gaga

What megamix would you like to see on our blog (not done before) in the future?

If you can have dinner with anyone famous (dead or alive), who would it be?
Preferably a well know & renowned plastic surgeon, so I can get lots of free work done.

Recently, our mixes have received an increasing number of downloads, but the comments have been dwindling to at most one or two per mix. In fact, we have had many mixes that received more than a few hundred downloads but not even a single comment or "thank you". So, starting from our next mix (see picture below), we will release it only after we get at least 10 comments posted under the previous mix ("Hunkalicious 3" for this instance). The comments should be posted under the mix (NOT in the chatbox), and have to be about whether you like the mix or not, or just a simple token of appreciation. Comments that do not make sense or contribute anything substantial will be deleted. This "Coming Soon..." will stay on as long as there are less than 10 comments under our previous mix. Till then, do enjoy our other mixes, and please show us some appreciation!
